MARADE GUIDELINES

The Marade officials will enforce strict adherence to the following guidelines by all Marade participants inorder to insure dignity, respect, and honor of Dr. King’s memory.

1. Participants are asked to march with sacredness, refraining from offensive gestures and language, as well as aggressive behavior that are not respectful of Dr. King’s memory.
2. No racial, sexual, cultural or other forms of bias will be permitted.
3. All interpretations of these guidelines will be made by MLK Marade officials.
4. Street-worthy floats will be allowed for a donation of $300.00 dollars

We require that you provide one course marshal for every ten participants. Please list the names and

phone numbers of your course marshals below. Marshall training will be held Saturday, January 19, 2012

10:00 a. m. until 1:00 p.m. at Denver Waste Water Building 2000 W. 3rd Ave Denver, CO. A light lunch will be provided.
