Purpose

Calendar of Events:  A centralized location on-line of all Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. events across the state.

Observance:  Representative Commissioners attending holiday observances within the State of Colorado.

Year Round Activities:  The Commission shall encourage and promote year round educational activities regarding the works of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Passing of the Torch:  The torch is symbolic of being one people and connecting all Coloradoans with the vision of Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement.
